Bio
Welcome! I am a PhD student in economics at University College London (UCL). I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in education, labor, and development economics. My work examines how peer interactions and social networks influence students’ noncognitive development and socio-emotional skills. I use large-scale randomized controlled trials and survey data from schools in China to study human capital formation.
I received my MPhil in Economics degree from St Cross College, University of Oxford (2021). Before that, I graduated from Nankai University with a BSc in Economics.

Beyond Academia
When I’m not doing research, I spend time hiking, hosting a small reading club in London, and practicing Chinese brush calligraphy — an art that balances discipline and flow, much like research itself.
I also write on Xiaohongshu (RED), where I share economics learning resources and personal reflections with an audience of 2,000+ readers. In addition, I enjoy photography and have photographed both academic and community events, capturing moments of collaboration and curiosity that inspire my work.
